NewKoADwind, a developer of 'Dedibox' advertising solution for motorcycles' IoT (Internet) on 30th, announced that it succeeded in attracting 100 million won through open trade of crowdfunding platform.
 
Dedibox is a service that sends commercial images in real time by installing three LCD displays and a high-speed wireless communication network (LTE-M) in the delivery box.
When the user requests the delivery service, the shop name and advertisement of the restaurant are sent out free of charge in the delivery box of the motorcycle during the delivery. When the delivery is completed, a paid advertisement registered in the system is sent out.
The developer explained. "This revenue from advertising is distributed to the Dedi box delivery engineers and  self-employed can advertise for free. The mobility of motorcycles allows advertisers to maximize the efficiency of their ads by targeting them to specific targets."
 
According to industry official says, in the existing delivery agency ecosystem, deliverers have to pay agency and system program companies an annual fee of 7,200,000 won to a fee of 10 million won. In this delivery agency ecosystem, deliverers need to deliver a large number of orders quickly in order to raise profits. As a result, the working environment of the deliverer is getting worse and is being exposed to traffic accidents.
 
Dedibox has taken the first step in creating a new ecosystem that can connect with the central system for managing advertisements in real time, the hardware Dedi box on the motorcycle of the deliverer, and the people who need to advertise through crowdfunding. They have obtained domestic patents and have also applied for patents in 52 countries including the United States, China, Japan, EU Union, Hong Kong, Singapore, Mexico, Russia, Australia, India, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand and Myanmar.
They have concluded a MOU with LG U + for the realization of the business and have completed KC certification and ISO 9001 certification, and will accelerate the service expansion after the funding.

"I think Dedibox is an example of a company that best meets the essence of crowdfunding. I think it is our job to help Open Trade play its role in finding and growing good companies. "
 
Dedibox will provide 'free advertising' services to self-employed who request delivery services for future service strategies. And Deliverer will be provided with a 'three-year fee exemption and a maximum of 66% to 90% fee reduction' on the condition that they are equipped with Dedi box.
